BA Dissertation: Humanism
This work asks 'How can we implement the values of humanism into design?' Looking at liberty, equality and fraternity into design, the analysis demonstrated the need of a golden mean, a time frame and a shared process to reach a humanist design.
This writing asked 'How can we implement the values of Humanism within design?'. I investigated how the values of liberty, equality and fraternity were integrated within design. The analysis highlighted, for a Humanist design, that the designer needed to communicate with a golden mean in mind, share a clear time frame, and include the process throughout the development of the project.
The hand-drawn titles were inspired by continued lines and the inside type was selected to illustrate the Humanist aesthetics. The colour coded chapters were a simple way to visually separate the chapters
